Quarterly
Poster
Contest

Theme: Ownership — Ownership shapes how we live, create, and relate to each other.

It defines what we can keep, what we can share, and what we can lose.

This quarter, the Bitcoin Design Community invites designers and artists to explore ownership as a lived experience — ownership of ideas, tools, identity, labour, money, land, data, and time.

Where does ownership empower?

Where does it exclude?

Where does it dissolve?

About
the
Programme

The Bitcoin Design Community hosts a quarterly international poster contest. Each edition centres on a single theme, with selected works culminating in a curated gallery exhibition.

This is not a branding exercise. It is a space for visual thinking.

What
to
Make

Create a poster that responds to the theme Ownership.

  • personal or political
  • abstract or literal
  • critical, poetic, or uncomfortable

There is no “correct” interpretation. Strong ideas matter more than polished explanations. Static and animated posters are welcome.

How
It
Works

  • One theme is announced each quarter
  • Designers and artists submit posters
  • Submissions are reviewed by an international jury
  • Selected works are documented and archived
  • Selected posters are exhibited in a curated gallery exhibition

Each quarter stands alone, while contributing to a growing body of work.

Judging

Posters are reviewed based on:
